The cabin is ideal for  families (2 adults and 2 kids or 3 adults) who enjoy the outdoors while still meeting all their needs. The two-level log cabin feels like your private residence as it sits on an acre of private waterfront land, with ocean and mountain views.

Eagle Cabin is the perfect wilderness getaway offering beautiful forest views and is only a short walk to the water where you can view the inlet and harbor from over an acre of private waterfront the main property sits on. The 400sq ft. two-level log cabin was custom designed and positioned to capture a limited ocean and mountain view as best as possible. Eagle Cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed, a loft room with 2 single beds and a living room couch that pulls out to a double size bed and is perfect for those that do not want to climb stairs to the loft or for those that have mobility issues. The cabin has everything you need during your stay including a kitchen area stocked with all your cooking essentials, heated floors, and a covered private deck with full size gas BBQ.

Eagle Cabin features heated tile flooring throughout the main living area, a small cozy living room space with a TV that offers cable TV, Wi-Fi for those that need to work while vacationing and a full bathroom with luxurious local Salt spring Island shampoo, conditioner and body wash is also provided. Lose yourself in a veritable oasis of west coast nature. The entire property is over an acre of private, forest surroundings, spectacular waterfront at the entrance of the harbour, yet still just a short walk to the town center. Eagle cabin sits behind the main waterfront home and is surrounded by 3 other cabins which is perfect for large groups bookings or retreats. We are the last property before 30 acres of island forest that gives way to the open ocean towards Barkley Sound. Regular daily visits from eagles, sea lions, otters, seals and occasionally killer, humpback and gray whales. Keep an eye out for our resident deer family that grazes around the cabins. We are also a short walk from kayak tours, fishing charters, the world-renowned Wild Coast Trail or several whale and wildlife tour outfits. We can’t wait to host you!

Important Notes:

• Guest Max: This cozy cabin is ideal for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) or a group of 3 adults.
• Loft Access: The stairs leading to the loft are steep, making them unsuitable for young toddlers without supervision or for those with mobility issues. Additionally, the loft ceiling is low.
• EV Charging: There is a Level 2 Tesla charging station on-site, shared among four cabins.
• Laundry: Please be aware that the cabin does not have a washer and dryer. However, a laundromat is conveniently located nearby.
• Beach Access: While the cabin is not waterfront, there is a small beach access area just a few steps away, located to the left of the main house.
• Group Bookings: For larger groups, Eagle Cabin is situated on an acre of land along with three other cabins—Sitka, Nootka, and Orca—and the main house where the owners reside. • Dogs: We allow 1 dog. There is a $50 pet fee( plus tax). Dogs must be in a crate while left alone at the property.

Booking Policies:

1. Minimum Stay Requirements:
   • July to August: A 3-night minimum stay is required, with all bookings arranged consecutively to avoid gaps.
   • Canadian Statutory Holidays: A minimum stay of 3 nights is mandatory.
2. Quiet Hours:
   • Strict Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
   • We ask that you respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum during these hours. Enjoy your stay, but please ensure that outdoor noise is kept low after 10:00 PM.
3. Cancellation Policy:
   • September to June: A 30-day cancellation notice is required for a full refund, minus a $73.50 non-refundable processing fee.
   • July to August: A 60-day cancellation notice is required for a full refund, minus a $73.50 non-refundable processing fee.
   • No Refunds: Cancellations made without the required notice will not be eligible for a refund.
4. Accidental Damage Protection (ADP):
   • Our ADP covers accidental damages up to $1,000, provided the damage is reported before check-out or in writing within 3 days after departure.
   • The ADP is a mandatory fee of $10 per night, included in your nightly rate.
