Property Description
The Orca Cabin in Ucluelet is steps away from the ocean and is the perfect wilderness getaway. Make yourself at home in the two-level cabin surrounded by west coast forest on just over an acre of private land. You have access to water views of the inlet and harbour. Inside this cozy cabin, you will have everything you need for your stay, including a kitchen area with the cooking essentials, heated floors, and a large covered private deck with a full-size gas BBQ.

Orca Cabin is the perfect wilderness getaway offering a peek a boo water view of the inlet and harbor. The 400sq ft. two-level log cabin was custom designed and positioned to capture the best ocean and mountain views possible. Orca Cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed, a loft room with 2 single beds and the living room has a pullout couch. It and has everything you need during your stay including kitchen area with all the cooking essentials, heated floors and a large covered private deck with full size gas BBQ.
Orca Cabin features heated tile floors throughout the main living area with seating for two, is set up for cozy nights in furnished with cable television and wi-fi. Lose yourself in a veritable oasis of west coast nature. Over an acre of private, forest surrounded spectacular waterfront at the entrance of the harbor, yet still just a short walk to the town center. We are the last property before 30 acres of island forest that gives way to the open ocean towards Barkley Sound. Regular daily visits from eagles, sea lions, otters, seals and occasionally killer, humpback and gray whales. Keep an eye out for our resident deer family that grazes around the cabins. We are also a short walk from kayak tours, fishing charters, the world-renowned Wild Coast Trail or several whale and wildlife tour outfits.

Important Notes:
- Loft Access: The stairs leading to the loft are steep, making them unsuitable for young toddlers without supervision or for those with mobility issues. Additionally, the loft ceiling is low.
- Cabin size-400sq ft: This cozy cabin is ideal for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) or a group of three adults.
- EV Charging: There is a Level 2 Tesla charging station on-site, shared among four cabins.
- Laundry: Please be aware that the cabin does not have a washer and dryer. However, a laundromat is conveniently located nearby.
- Beach Access: While the cabin is not waterfront, there is a small beach access area just a few steps away, located to the left of the main house.
- Group Bookings: For larger groups, Eagle Cabin is situated on an acre of land along with three other cabins—Sitka, Nootka, and Orca—and the main house where the owners reside. Together, the cabins can accommodate up to 16 guests. If you’re interested in booking all the cabins for your group, please contact Tofino Vacation Rentals directly.
- One dog max.: We do not allow furry friends to be left alone in the cabin without a crate. There is a $50 plus tax dog fee.
Booking Policies:
- Minimum Stay Requirements:
- July to August: A 3-night minimum stay is required, with all bookings arranged consecutively to avoid gaps.
- Canadian Statutory Holidays: A minimum stay of 3 nights is mandatory.
- Quiet Hours:
- Strict Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- We ask that you respect our neighbors by keeping noise to a minimum during these hours. Enjoy your stay, but please ensure that outdoor noise is kept low after 10:00 PM.
- Cancellation Policy:
- September to June: A 30-day cancellation notice is required for a full refund, minus a $73.50 non-refundable processing fee.
- July to August: A 60-day cancellation notice is required for a full refund, minus a $73.50 non-refundable processing fee.
- No Refunds: Cancellations made without the required notice will not be eligible for a refund.
- Accidental Damage Protection (ADP):
- Our ADP covers accidental damages up to $1,000, provided the damage is reported before check-out or in writing within 3 days after departure.
- The ADP is a mandatory fee of $10 per night, included in your nightly rate.
