Ucluelet is a place of spectacular, rugged beauty with one of the world’s most pristine coastlines. Just 15 minutes away, you will find the sandy u-shaped shores of Florencia Bay. At Florencia Bay, you will find a constant stream of waves, making it a fantastic location to surf, relax, swim, or beachcombing. Most of the surf comes from groundswells, and the ideal swell direction is from the west. The beach break offers both left and right-hand waves. Travel another 10 minutes, and you will find yourself at Long Beach.

Long Beach spans an extraordinary 16km, and you will be amazed by the amount of life that calls the tidal pools home. As you explore, you will be sure to discover crabs, shells, starfish, sea urchins, and much more. Long beach is a great place to relax, explore, hike, and surf.
