Property Description

This is a quaint 1 bedroom condo that is a nice oasis for 2. With a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave and a wide assortment of cookware; all of the amenities are here for you to enjoy. Eik Landing was named for the towering ancient cedar at the entrance. It is located in the village of Tofino and walking distance to restaurants and shops. With the breathtaking views of this suite, enjoy a glass of wine on the deck, you’ll be sure to fall in love with Tofino!

The now famous Eik tree was in danger of falling over and for a while it seemed it may be cut down, until a young French Canadian man climbed up to its protecting treetop boughs and would not leave until the tree was saved. Worldwide media became enchanted with the passion this young man had to save the Eik tree and money flowed in from around the world to save it. Now complete with a protecting ‘girdle’ the Eik tree stands as the sacred guardian of Eik Landing. Each Eik Landing suite offers its own unique and individually designed style.

Dream catchers are ubiquitous amongst all First Nations people. Simply put, dream catchers filter out bad dreams and permit good dreams through the centre. Our dream, for years, has been to have a home in Clayoquot Sound. We open our home to you, and we hope it provides you shelter while you enjoy the restless ocean, the rain forests, the beautiful sunsets, and the birds and the animals including the eagles that hang out in the ‘girdled‘ tree. May you find the Sound as renewing of your spirit as our family does.

For selfish reasons, I would love to say this place was just OK. That would be a lie, motivated to leave more availability for me to book. That said, it was a fantastic place to stay, extremely close to everything thats important in Tofino and you would be remiss if you didn't put serious consideration into staying here. Perfect location, fantastic accommodation, and lovely location. What more do you need?

We had a lovely time in Tofino. I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the unit. It was very clean and comfortable. The view was amazing and I loved watching the tide come in with my morning coffee before we toured for the day. Absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for making our stay a comfortable one.

It was a pleasure to stay in this unit overlooking the harbour and being able to observe the everyday activities. The location was great in that you could wander down to the town in the evening. The kitchen was well appointed with very nice matching cutlery and crockery as well a cooking utensils. The hike from the room via the Tonquin trail through to Middle Beach and onwards to macKenzie beach is well worthwhile. When we return we will definitely reserve this suite.

Nice place to stay for the three of us - at one end of the main street in Tofino, so walking distance to a lot of stuff. Kitchen was wells stocked with cooking utensils and supplies. Has a washer/dryer and a BBQ out on the patio.

The pictures do not do this place justice! Four of us were very comfortable staying here for the weekend. There is a great restaurant right across the road from the place, and many other options very close by as well. Thanks so much

This is an amazing apartment! It's a corner unit with a patio and own bbq with Marina view. You can watch wildlife right from your unit or the patio while eating or having a glass of wine. The unit is very modern, spacious and has everything you need. It is also very bright and you also get sun in the afternoon. The location is excellent, walking distance to all the Tofino restaurants and a great restaurant, coffee shop and ice cream shop across the street. Whale watching station and kayak rental is right next to it! If you come to Tofino this is the place to stay!
